Paws n' Claws Pet Sitting is owned and operated by Darla Smith. We are bonded and insured for the protection
of you and your pets. We are a member of Pet Sitters International and we are trained in Pet First Aid and CPR. I
live in Salinas with my husband Jimmy, our daughter Courtney and our four-legged canine and feline children. I am currently
employed full time as the executive assistant with The Don Chapin Company. Starting my own pet sitting
business came from my passion for animals. Since I am not a traveler and am quite content being home, a pet sitting
business was a natural fit. My business allows my clients, who do travel, a worry-free way of providing for their much
loved pets when they are away from home. Clients can be assured that I will treat their pets as if they were my own.
I have always had a great love of animals and I devote much of my time to helping animals in need
through rescue, fostering, and fundraising for local animal organizations such as the SPCA for Monterey County and Animal
Friends Rescue Project in Pacific Grove. As an animal enthusiast, I always encourage anyone who is able to volunteer
their time to help save homeless animals. The SPCA for Monterey County and Animal Friends Rescue are always in need
